Quest for Identity

The Quest started when I found out my sexual orientation
Googling about it and search for the “answer”
Indonesian Lesbian Forum on voy • Swara Srikandi • #KLIT at MIRC and several more • Milist2 lesbian

I joined and played; at first felt satisfied to find a community that have same quest. You could find anything, Friends, love-r or just a place to share the needs

Yet it did not fulfill my needs..
To confused, too crowded, unorganized, too much anger people, too much depressed people, too much drama, etc..etc..
I’m looking for something different, something that could fulfill the brain.
And I know there’s a lot of member that also felt the same way.

And in the middle of unsatisfied and almost give up to the quest.
An enlightened came and I become one of volunteer of mailing list Institute Pelangi Perempuan. With Kamel [the founder’s], I help her to create a mailing list based on edufantaiment mailing list.

Along the way, IPP’s get an over to create a website. A website based on IPP vision and mission. That could reach more goodness for youth lesbian Indonesia. Although now it no longer as IPP’s website but I proudly say that IPP already done the great job to create and give inspiration to the young lesbian Indonesia. [high five for IPP’s team]

Meanwhile during my volunteer to IPP’s mailing list,
I still googling for “lesbian mom”.. and I found out 1 blog. Blog of Mrs. Lakhsmi at jejak artemis. Its about being Lesbian and married to a man. Surprisingly I found out her partner is my senior at junior high school. So I couldn’t stop myself to ask them to make a mailing list and I bet there a lots that already asking the same question to them :D
They create a mailing list of jejak artemis at yahoo group and also create a web based blog on writing literature at sepocikopi. A very great job Lex and Lax.

Also I found more community..
Ardhanary institute, gaya nusantara, arus pelangi, etc… etc…

I realized it was already 3 years since I started
A Quest for identity as a Lesbian.
A quest for home, friendship and family..

I found my identity..
But I still have another quest to full fill :D
